I just adopted a kitten 4 days ago. She had a very rough start to her 5 month life; she was the runt and is only 3lbs and has been spayed. I can't tell if she's just shy, maybe cautious or depressed? She doesn't demonstrate any fear behaviors, but she just sleeps all day. She has no interest in any toys at all. Doesn't know what to do with a scratching post. It's like she has no idea how to be a kitten or play. She was found and hand raised at one week week. Her foster mother said she would often retreat from her littermates and join the pitties instead. I want to give her space and time, but I'm also worried that there's something I should be doing to help her feel confident. I'd appreciate any tips, thank you!
