Setting up a PoE-powered security system for a warehouse is proving to be trickier than I expected. Initially, I thought running a few Ethernet cables with built-in PoE would be enough, but some cameras are way too far from the main switch, and I’m running into power limitations. Now I’m trying to figure out whether I should go with PoE injectors or extenders to cover the distance. I want something reliable that won’t cause voltage drops or connectivity issues. Has anyone dealt with a similar setup? What worked best for you?
