Hi all. Are there any updated versions of the old DnD classics such as Champions of Krynn or Pools of Radiance etc. I know you can physically play these old games, but they are pretty hard to play these days with the old controls etc. Are there any games of more modern make but of the same style? Really looking for a decent D&D style game.
Solasta: Crown of the Magister is one of the recent ones that seems to be the most promising in my opinion. I haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but a couple other people here have and they seemed to like it.
I was in the same boat and ended up mixing some older PC games with virtual tools to get that tabletop feel again. It’s also easy to share with friends if you’re playing online or through voice chat.
