This behaviour does imply that she is not getting enough water, like some may lead you to believe. This is just a personal preference. She is probably just amused by the sound it makes or that it allows her to feel more involved in what you are doing.
The only issue that could become a concern here - is if there is any soap/shampoo residue left behind, as some scents can attract a cat's interest - so be sure to keep the area clean after each shower.
