How long does 1 bag last?
Each bag should last about a month per cat, but this can depend on how many litter boxes you have and your cat's unique bathroom behavior.
How much comes in 1 bag?
One bag of our lightweight formula is 9.25lbs. Our litter is 58% lighter than traditional clay litter!
What's the difference between the two types?
Really Great Cat Litter, Charcoal, is an unscented formula that uses activated charcoal to eliminate odors naturally. Our Lavender formula, however, is lightly scented using dried lavender petals for a soft, gentle aroma. Both are ultra low-tracking, 99% dust-free, clumping and flushable.
Isn't scented litter bad for cats?
Many scented litters use synthetic fragrances or concentrated essential oils that can be too strong for cats' sensitive noses. Our lavender formula is different—we use only crushed dried lavender petals for a very gentle, natural aroma that prioritizes your cat's comfort and safety while still providing effective odor management. In fact, lavender in appropriate forms is used by veterinary professionals for calming hospitalized cats and providing enrichment in shelter environments
Is lavender safe for cats? I've heard it can be toxic.
Lavender toxicity concerns stem from a few scientific studies looking at direct skin contact with concentrated essential oils, which is completely different from our litter. We use dried lavender petals, not essential oils, and only at a tiny 0.01% concentration—all bound inside dust-free pellets. A cat would have to eat thousands of pounds to reach any concerning level!

I thought you weren't supposed to flush cat litter?
One main concern with flushing cat litter is toxoplasmosis entering the water system. However, the CDC says that indoor cats that don’t hunt or eat raw meat are extremely unlikely to be infected. Still, if your municipality doesn’t allow it, you can avoid flushing altogether and either throw it in the trash or compost.
