This simple, beautiful, redesigned version of the classic litter box features an integrated scoop, dustpan, and hand brush. It’s compact for small spaces, but spacious enough for your cat’s comfort. The Cove is made out of thick matte plastic that’s easy to wipe clean and feels exceptionally sturdy. Cleaning the litter box will never be your favorite chore, but you can make the best of it with the Cove (no liners necessary).

The Shelter adds an 8” partition around the litter box to keep litter and waste contained.

No track modern litter box

I am absolutely in love with my new litter box from tuft + paw! I have had my cat litter box in a high traffic hallway and could never stop the litter from ending up on the floor. But now I rarely have to sweep, and when I do I have all the necessary broom dustpan components built in! I love the sleek design and appreciate all the the scoop and sweep components are built in. Everything fits perfectly in one place! Defintiely will be buying more in the future

No mess litter box!!

My cat Archie peed outside the litter box because the litters boxes that I was using were not high enough. Every day I had to clean urine under the litter box from where it would leak. This is not the case with the Cove Litter Box! No accidents at all because the walls are high enough to prevent accidents. I know this was a costly litter box, but it was worth every penny. Plus it’s well made and attractive. Thanks so much!!! I appreciate the design!

We have 3 boxes. We love the appearance and functionality and the cats do too. My only suggestion would be for the lip in the dust pan to be thinner. Off of a smooth wood floor, the litter can't get into the dust pan. Easier to use a hand vac. Not a huge deal. I love your products.

Luxurious and effective

I bought this litter box on advice of vet, since my cat was peeing outside box on the litter mats.

The high ends keep most of the litter in the box! And I don’t have to use a litter box - and so far as a result, no peeing outside the box!

Added benefit is that it looks luxurious!

I have purchased several items for my main coon cats - the Interactive Bird Simulation being one of their favorite toys. The double, elevated water bowls are ingenious and more comfortable for them while they are eating. The Scratch and Play Ramp is one of their favorites, often with both of them trying to squeeze the other out for scratching time. My favorite (on their behalf) is the open top litter box, which is stylish while also being easy to clean. With the open top, I can easily see how much the two of them have used it and can keep it tidier for them.

Functional and Sleek

This litter box is awesome! I love how easy it is to put together and take apart. The shelter ensures my cat doesn't kick his litter all over the place. The brush is easy to use and makes it fast to clean up any that has spilled over. The brush is lightweight and the handle of it is long enough so that it's easy to scoop without getting to close to the litter.

The best!

We’ve been using this box for our latest foster kittens (but without the shelter so far). It’s very roomy. The sides are a little higher than other boxes we’ve had but not too high for 7-week old kittens - took some climbing to begin with but by 10 weeks they’re leaping it no problem. The best part is it cleans so well - the sides and bottom clean/scrape very easily. If we keep them much longer we’ll start introducing the shelter part now that they’re a little older - it was a little off putting to them to begin with but it’s really brilliant and will work great.

One of my cats is notorious for pooping outside of the box. He really does try to keep it in, but he doesn’t have the spatial awareness 🤣 Enter the Cove Litter Box. It’s been a game changer. No more finding surprise poops just outside of the box! The walls are tall enough to keep things contained. The litter is awesome too. We did the easing in trick where we started with 80% of the old litter & 20% of the Tuft & Paw litter; my boys adjusted right away, no issues! We’ve used automatic litter boxes like the Litter Robot and the Cat Genie, so we were hesitant to get back to scooping, but I’m so glad we tried it.

Yes - both Cove and Cubby include the Shelter, a removable add-on wall accessory, which adds an 8” partition around the litter box to keep litter and waste contained.

Our litter boxes are made of anti-stick plastic, which makes cleaning a breeze and keeps it tidy day-to-day. For best results, we suggest doing a monthly deep clean by emptying the litter box and wiping it down with warm water and a gentle cleaner, like unscented dish soap. However, if there are old or stubborn urine stains after years of use, an enzyme cleaner may be needed to break them down.

After listening to your feedback, we wanted to create a simpler version of our best-selling litter box, without all of the bells and whistles that not all cat parents want. The result is a simple, minimal iteration of our best-seller, but with the same tuft + paw approach to high-quality materials and durability.

The litter area is the exact same but the Cove comes with a built-in storage caddy for the scoop and dustpan. With the semi-transparent shelter removed, the Cove's overall footprint is 16” W x 26” D x 6.5” H compared to Cubby's 15.2" W x 21.2" L x 6" H. The Cubby is also lighter with the base tub coming in at 2.6 lbs. The Cove is a more premium tub at 7.3 lbs (when the tool caddy insert & tools are removed) with a rigid double-walled design and textured, recessed base for easy lifting

Getting cats to use a new litter box can take a little bit of patience, but here are some tips that might help:

Put the new litter box in the same place as the old one, so your cat doesn't get confused.
Make sure the box is easily accessible and has a clear view of the room.
Use the same type of litter and add some of your cat's soiled litter to the new box, so they recognize the scent.
Keep the box clean by scooping out soiled litter daily.
If your cat is hesitant to use the new box, try rubbing or spraying catnip along the edge to entice them.
Consider removing the Shelter wall if your cat seems uncomfortable, but put it back if they prefer it.
Praise and reward your cat when they use the new box correctly, using verbal praise and treats.
And remember, be patient!
