Senior Logistics Coordinator

At tuft + paw, we're passionate about creating memorable customer experiences for cat people. If you are a cat person with a passion for logistics, operations and 3PL management, we invite you to join our team as the Senior Logistics Coordinator.

Job Description:

 As the Senior Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our logistics operations. You will oversee the entire process from Vendor to Customer. Your role will encompass logistics management, inventory control, 3PL management & relations, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

 Logistics Management: Oversee and coordinate the transportation and delivery of goods from suppliers to our warehouse and from our warehouse to customers.

  • Maintain records to track, audit and report on inbound and outbound shipping costs.

Inventory Control: Implement a formal cycle count program including a year end count.

  • Develop tools to monitor and verify inventory levels based on sales and receipt of goods to avoid stockouts.

Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in the logistics process and develop strategies for improvement. Including but not limited to:

  • B2B fulfillment and future readiness for new partners

  • Inventory balancing across warehouses

3PL Management: Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure effective outsourcing of warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment services.

  • Monitor and evaluate 3PL performance through regular reviews and performance metrics to ensure they meet agreed-upon service levels.

  • Address any issues or challenges with 3PL partners promptly to maintain smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.

 Data Analysis: Use data and metrics to evaluate logistics performance and make informed decisions. Using the data, find opportunities to reduce operational spend.



Requirements:

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments such as Customer Care, Planning and Product to support operational aspects of projects and initiatives.

  • Provide monthly reports as required on key areas of the business.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address logistics challenges and find innovative solutions.

  • Foresight to identify and prioritize opportunities to ensure future success.

Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in logistics, supply chain management, 3PL or a related field.

  • Comfortable and familiar with working in WMS and IMS software.

Location: Based in Vancouver (or remotely in Canada) while aligning with the company's hours of operation.

Job Description:

As the CFCO, you will be the driving force behind our financial strategy and operations, combining the roles of CFO and Controller. You will lead our financial department, overseeing both strategic financial planning and day-to-day accounting operations. Your role will encompass financial management, strategic planning, risk management, and ensuring compliance with accounting and financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company, aligning it with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Content Lead

You'll report directly to the Director of Brand Marketing and collaborate closely with other key stakeholders to create compelling content that resonates with cat parents everywhere.

Your work will significantly impact how our brand is perceived and will play a crucial part in our marketing strategies. Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing:

    • Edit videos for performance marketing campaigns and assist with editing organic social media content.

    • Outsource video editing as needed, sourcing and managing reliable contractors.

    • Ensure videos are optimized for viral potential, staying updated on trends and techniques that drive high engagement.

  • Copywriting:

    • Write engaging copy for brand channels, including but not limited to email newsletters, performance marketing, website, social media, and more.

    • Prepare scripts for YouTube (short and long-form videos) and ads.

    • Write content for activation signage, packaging, and partnership requests.

    • Copyedit blog articles as needed from external contractors to match brand tone.

  • Content Creation:

    • Assist with photo and video shoot production.

    • Develop processes for a consistent content pipeline, working with channel owners to ensure a steady flow of new content, both from internal shoots and external content creators.

  • Content Organization:

    • Organize and manage content assets, ensuring all files are properly named, uploaded to Google Drive, and easily accessible.

    • Maintain a clean and organized content library.

  • Creative Briefing:

    • Assist in preparing creative briefs for internal and external collaborators.

    • Translate requests from channel owners into actionable briefs for graphic designers and contractors.

    • Provide creative direction and assist with executing content projects to ensure brand consistency and quality.

  • Project Coordination:

    • Manage multiple content projects concurrently, balancing deadlines and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaboration:

    • Work independently and as part of a team to coordinate content efforts with the marketing department and other stakeholders.

  • Brand Consistency:

Requirements:

Senior Graphic Designer

As the sole graphic designer on our team, you'll report directly to the Director of Brand Marketing and collaborate closely with other key stakeholders to create compelling designs that resonate with cat parents everywhere.

In this pivotal role, you'll be able to lead our visual design efforts, ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines while contributing fresh, innovative ideas. Your work will have a significant impact on how our brand is perceived and will play a crucial part in our marketing and product strategies. Responsibilities:

  • Packaging Design:

    • Own all aspects of our packaging design, including concept development, structural design, generating dielines, proofing, and prototypes.

    • Collect feedback from stakeholders and ensure the final design meets production standards and specifications.

    • Oversee the day-to-day process of packaging development and liaise with the Product Design team to follow up on sample development and modifications.

  • Retail Displays:

    • Conceptualize and create visually engaging retail displays such as endcaps, shelf labels, banners, POP displays, and visual merchandising materials.

  • Print Marketing Materials:

    • Design and produce printed assets for various marketing needs, including packaging inserts and activation materials.

  • Digital Marketing Materials:

    • Create digital assets for performance ads, email newsletters, presentations, and social media channels.

    • Perform minor video editing to add 2D graphic movements.

  • Photo Editing:

    • Edit product and lifestyle photos, creating realistic photo manipulations and ensuring color matching.

  • Project Coordination:

    • Manage multiple design projects concurrently, balancing deadlines and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaboration:

    • Present design concepts clearly and concisely, including mock-ups for presentations.
