Tuft & Paw cat litter is a very unique cat litter to come my way in a very long time. I have a disease of the bones that makes it very painful for me to walk. With this new cat litter, it only takes me a few minutes to scoop my cat's litter box clean. There is no tracking what so ever. This would be after 3 days of use. I am continuing to use it and thus far really like the results! it is still in it's test faze on my end. I have read where one bag will last one month? So far so good. The smell, not so good. I will hand it to Tuft & Paw that is very east to scoop and doesn't leave a nasty mess by hand. The little I have had to clean, one wipe and it's gone. This litter box is stylish (That’s important when it’s in a room that people occupy on a regular basis), and the high walls privacy to our pets. The best part is that one used with tuft and pot cat litter clean up is a breeze! And the litter traps most of the smell. Any residue that might be left on the bottom of the box is easily cleaned up. It’s self-contained with a handheld broom and litter scoop. The best thing about the litter and the scoop is that it does not stick to the scoop. It falls right off into the dump bin. This litter box is the best deal around! We own three!

The box is huge. Measure before purchasing and consider where it will be located. For my one petite cat, the size is overkill. The scoop and broom in their cubbies is a nice idea, but the scoop isn't that great. The design of holes, or the size, lets some of what should be scooped away fall back into the box. I also now have more appreciation for my heavier metal scoop, whose sharp edge cleanly scoops the bottom of the box. The T&P plastic scoop doesn't scrape as cleanly. And finally, my cat has zero preference for this box compared to the $5 plastic litter pan the shelter included with their "starter pet" kit. My cat uses the T&P box, but it isn't any cleaner in terms of tiny bits of litter around the sides or in front. So, considering all this, the T&P was a ridiculously expensive indulgent purchase, but essentially my other box was free and the metal scoop $18, so if I split the difference, and years of use ... in the long run it's "fine." Nothing special. Just fine.
